Course Three · The Complete Micro-Course

Medical terminology,
twenty seconds at a time.

The entire language of medicine, rebuilt as 598 numbered videos — not a vocabulary list to memorize, but a system to decode. Learn the parts once and you can read a term you have never seen. Start at the beginning, or start anywhere and follow the numbers back.

How the course works

Don’t memorize the words. Learn to decode them.

Medical terminology looks like thousands of words to memorize. It isn’t. It’s a small set of roots, prefixes, and suffixes that combine by a handful of rules — learn the parts and the method, and a term you have never seen becomes readable on sight. This course builds that machinery in order: the parts first, then one body system at a time, each new term assembled from parts you already have a number for.

Three kinds of video: atoms (one part, rule, or term, about twenty seconds), procedures (one decoding or building method, shown step by step), and capstones (one real term or chart line, decoded from the ground up). Every claim is checked against the standard text (Chabner, The Language of Medicine), and the full source list is published for anyone to inspect.

The receipts

Check my work.

Behind the course sits a reference document in which every term, part, and rule is checked against the standard text — Chabner’s The Language of Medicine — and the safety material (error-prone abbreviations, look-alike terms) against the published do-not-use lists. This is recognition-level terminology, not medical advice: it teaches you to read the language, not to practice it. I’m a teacher and a builder, not a clinician — so the receipts are right there to catch me with.
